이번 앨범은 서울이라는 도시의 지층을 한 겹씩 파고든, 태선의 첫 번째 결과물이다. 누상동 계곡, 정동교회 베델홀, 보광동 작업실 등 태선의 멤버들이 각자의 삶과 휴식, 작업 공간에서 즉흥적으로 녹음한 결과물을 유기적으로 엮었다.

현장의 소리를 플루트와 기타, 전자음을 겹치고 재배치해 새로운 흐름으로 엮어낸 앨범은 즉흥성과 구조 사이를 오가며, 각기 다른 장소와 질감이 하나의 긴 서사처럼 이어진다. 단순히 차분한 배경 음악이 아니라, 도시 속에서 반복과 소음 너머의 리듬과 여백을 탐색하는 시도이자, 도시를 새롭게 듣는 제안이다.

Recorded in spaces tied to the duo’s daily lives. Nusang Valley, Bethel Hall at Jeongdong Church, and a Bogwang-dong studio, the album weaves these field recordings into a cohesive flow.

Layering flute, guitar, and electronics over the raw sounds of each site, the record navigates a delicate balance between improvisation and structure. The result is not background ambience, but an attempt to uncover rhythms and silences beneath the city’s repetition and noise. A proposal to hear Seoul in a different way.
