싱글 [Make Cake]는 작년 8월 EP 3부작의 최종장을 발매한 후 1년 만에 돌아온 조시영(Josi Young)의 새 싱글이다

지난해 조시영은 계절마다 케이크를 만들었다. 케이크를 만들지 않을 때는 글을 썼고, 글을 쓰지 않을 때는 노래를 만들었다. 아이들과 함께 일하며 무엇이든 끊임없이 만들어내는 모습을 통해 깨달음을 얻었다. 무언가를 만들고자 하는 의지는 너무나 자연스러운 일이라는 것을.

“그냥 무엇이든 만들어보자!”

[Make Cake] is a new single by Josi Young, marking her return one year after releasing , the final part of her EP trilogy last August.

Throughout last year, Josi Young baked cakes each season. When she was not baking, she wrote, and when she was not writing, she made music. Working alongside children and seeing them constantly make things led her to a realization that the urge to create is simply second nature.

“Let’s just make whatever!”
