In November 2024, TAATI released the single “Dakapo” in collaboration with electronic music producer Bleakre. This track marks a departure from her previous sonic palette. Inspired by the musical term Da Capo, meaning “to

return to the beginning” or “to repeat,” the song reflects her personal narrative—conveying the idea that when certain issues reach a critical point, they inevitably repeat, cycle back, and return.

For this release, TAATI has teamed up with five Seoul-based electronic artists—Yetsuby, Wona, Bleakre, Net Gala, and Moon Ki—to present a compilation album of Dakapo remixes, each offering a distinct interpretation

of the track.

2024년 11월 전자음악 프로듀서 Bleakre 와 함께 발매한 싱글 Dakapo는 TAATI가 지금까지 보여주었던 색깔과는 사뭇 다른 느낌의 곡이다. 처음으로 다시 돌아감, 다시 반복됨 이라는 뜻을 가진 음악용어인 Dakapo 에서 받은 영감과 그녀의 이야기를 물들여 만들어진 곡으로, 문제가 어느 지점에 도달 하면 계속 반복되어 돌고, 되돌아 온다는 이야기를 담고 있다.

이번 DAKAPO 리믹스 앨범은, 현재 서울을 중심으로 활동하고 있는 5명의 전자음악 아티스트들 Yetsuby, Wona, Bleakre, Net Gala, Moon Ki 와 함께 컴필레이션 앨범으로 다양한 색깔의 Dakapo를 보여주려 한다.
