Composer’s talk-

지난겨울에는 파리에 머물다 왔어요.
좋아하는 책 한 권을 들고 갔는데, “성 동혁” 시인의 “뉘앙스”라는 산문집이었어요.
책의 3분의 1지점쯤에는 “뉘앙스”에 관한 이야기가 있었고,
제가 처한 상황과 비슷하다는 생각이 들어서 하루에도 네다섯 번씩 그 페이지만 계속 읽곤 했습니다.
때마침 프랑스의 국민 작가라고 불리는 “Roland Barthes”의 책을 선물받아서 읽다가, 마음을 울리는 한 문장을 더 발견했고, 
두 작가의 문장들(위 두 문장)을 읽고 느낀 감정과 제가 이번 파리 여행에서 느낀 마음이 맞닿아 있다는 생각이 들어 쓰게 된 곡입니다.
