Wona [Resurrected Butterflies]

지난 9월 발매되었던 <Thanatoid Butterfly>의 Remix 앨범인 <Resurrected Butterflies>는 ‘가사상태’의 과거에서 벗어나 역동적인 부활의 모습을 빗댄 6개의 리믹스 트랙과 하나의 선물 같은 보너스 트랙을 수록하고 있는 Wona 발자취의 총람이다. 국내 전자음악 씬에서 다양한 축으로 활동하는 Salamanda, FRNK, TwinTimes, GoDam, Two Tone Shape 등의 뮤지션과 더불어 Wona 본인의 Revision 트랙이 수록되어 원본 트랙에서 보여주지 못했던 감정의 이면을 직접 풀어내었다.

Remix 앨범의 발매와 발맞추어 정규 앨범과 리믹스 앨범의 합본인 <Thanatoid Butterfly: Deluxe>의 카세트의 발매도 이루어지며, 디럭스에서만 들을 수 있는 두 개의 히든트랙 When I Was Dead와 미수록곡 The Dreaming의 Demo 버전은 러프하고 날선 매력들을 생동감 있게 느낄 수 있을 것이다. 또 <Thanatoid Butterfly> 앨범의 주제가 되었던 정체감과 그 심연에 자리 잡고 있던 감정들을 슬픈 목소리로 노래한 보너스 트랙 Gasi도 디럭스 앨범을 구입하는 팬들을 위한 선물로 담겨져 있다.
