“Yesterdays”

유행과 트렌드를 거부하는 자신만의 스타일, 실제 이야기들을 바탕으로 한 가사, 일체의 Auto-tune 없이 담아낸 목소리, 아날로그 테잎 사운드와 노이즈 등이 Joe Layne의 데뷔앨범 “Yesterdays” 를 구성하는 요소들이다.

The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Radiohead, Oasis, Bon Iver 등 그에게 큰 영감을 준 아티스트들에 대한 오마주와 함께 그만의 고유한 음색과 기타연주, 밴드사운드가 조화를 이루며 앨범의 인트로 “Zero” 부터 아웃트로 “Interlude” 까지 그가 가진 다채로운 사운드들이 록, 포크, 얼터너티브, 브릿팝을 사랑하는 모든 이들을 Joe Layne의 음악세계로 초대한다.

이번 앨범에는 3차례 GRAMMY 수상에 빛나는 엔지니어 Robbie Nelson (Beck, Mick Jagger, Jamie Cullum), 키보디스트 Joe Price (Tom Misch, Nao, James Morrison), 드러머 Jari Salminen (Anna Puu, Poets of the Fall), 마스터링 엔지니어 Brian Lucey (The Black Keys, Liam Gallagher, Arctic Monkeys) 등 세계적인 뮤지션 및 엔지니어들이 참여했다.
