BookBookBalance is an instrumental improvisational band formed in 2022, consisting of Zhang Sailong (Synth/Bass), Alex Morris (Drums), and Satoshi Kataoka (Synth/Guitar). For the band, “improvisation” is not just a performance style but also a state of mind— embracing external, transient changes; using the instruments at hand to sense internal turbulence and create a counterpoint to order.
