NOVASIA is an electro-acoustic duo whose name combines “NOVA” (supernova) and “ASIA,” symbolizing their mission to explore a new vision of Eastern music. Formed by electronic music producer Dahn and gayageum artist Rico, NOVASIA blends the organic resonance of the gayageum with experimental electronic sound design. Their music expresses the cyclical balance of yin and yang — tradition and future, nature and technology — through immersive, dreamlike yet powerful rhythms. Rooted in Eastern philosophy and inspired by nature and the human spirit, NOVASIA reinterprets traditional elements into a uniquely modern soundscape.
