| ‘뿌리스럽게 살고 싶다’라는
키워드로 살아가고 있는 요즘.
한 타투이스트에게 이 키워드를 던졌다.
그는 고심하여 정성껏 디자인을 해주었고, 그리고 그 도안을 나의 등 뒤 정중앙에 새기게 되었다.
이 것은 사실 무척 단순한 일이지만 내 피부에 직접적으로 새겨지면서 나는 뿌리스럽게 살고자하는 사람이 되었다.
이 재미난 이야기와 함께 나의 삶의 일부분을 한스푼 얹어 곡으로 표현해봤다.

STATIONS
| BookBookBalance’s second album, STATIONS, marks their first studio-recorded project. Transitioning from recorded live performance to an intimate studio setting, this album captures the essence of improvisation—the hallmark of BBB’s concept—further stimulated by the possibilities of studio recording. The result is a profound “flow” experience, an expansion rather than a departure from their previous work.
Each track is a brief, yet complete journey, dissipating as quickly as it arises. The 12 tracks depict vivid yet elusive urban narratives and emotions, resembling the nocturnal cityscape. The music, like the rail tracks at night, navigates through absurdity and solitude. One might hear Camus’ words resonate through the aural “stations” the record describes. The album cover’s intertwining colors and flowing shapes mirror the exploration of the boundaries between reality and illusion.
Above all, STATIONS is an expression of the members’ experienced reality—that living itself is an improvisational journey. |

| When you’re at the bottom of the very bottom, who’s the single person that you think of the most and wants to be there by your side? I truly believe everyone has a certain someone in their lives, whenever it comes to situations like this, and that is what the song is about. At the end of the day, people come and people come, and in my own case, the most important persons who will always stay, are members of my family who I am fortunate enough to know they will always be by my side. I hope you will feel related to the lyrics of the song.
가장 밑바닥에 있을 때 가장 생각나고 곁에 있고 싶은 단 한 명의 사람은 누구일까요? 이런 상황이 올 때마다 모든 사람들이 자신의 삶에 어떤 사람이 있다고 진심으로 믿고 있고, 그것이 바로 그 노래의 내용입니다. 결국 사람들이 오고 또 사람들이 오지만 저 같은 경우에 가장 중요한 사람들은 항상 제 곁에 있을 것이라는 것을 알 수 있을 정도로 좋은 가족 구성원들입니다. 노래 가사와 연관성을 느끼셨으면 좋겠습니다.
