| 2023 marks the fourth year of Sandwich Fail since formation. After the first anniversary of the inclusion of new members, they released their first independent mini-album. Departing from the conventional four-piece instrumental production, the album “Lethal Within”, maintains their signature energetic guitar-driven melodies, the juxtaposition of frenzy and romance in the rhythm, and the vocal’s keen insights into everyday life. Each song serves as an authentic emotional vessel.
“Lethal Within”
This album was released in a year when the world was returning to tranquility, yet rapidly expanding and advancing at an astonishing pace. There seems to be no barriers between people once again, but has the distance between hearts grown closer? We continue to question this within ourselves. The world before 2019 feels like a distant century, almost resembling a parallel universe. Although life appears to be returning to its regular course, fresh contradictions and conflicts are propagating in the gaps, as if these toxins were thus disseminated. |
