시작 후 점점 뜨거워지는 격양된 분위기로 인해 결국 두근거림으로 바뀌는 과정을 표현했습니다. 조그만 불씨에서 시작된다 해도, 마지막에 커다란 불꽃이 되어 관객의 마음 속에 기억됐으면 하는 뮤지션의 염원을 담은 노래입니다.

| 짝사랑은 아픕니다.
산책 중 갑자기 어느 날 나타난 길 고양이 같은 사람에게 무한한 궁금증이 생기게 되죠. 처음 보는 모습에 신기하기도 하고 재미를 느끼며 더욱더 가까워지고 알아가고 싶은 마음이 커집니다. 잠이 들기 전에도 좋아하는 밴드의 공연 영상을 보기 전에도 생각이 납니다. 또 엄청 보고 싶어지고요. 그러나 어째서 인지 그 사람 앞에서는 고장이 나버리는 것 같습니다. 평소의 내 모습도 아닌 듯하고 긴장도 하면서요. 전하고 싶은 마음은 커지지만 표현했다 그 사람이 달아날까 두렵습니다. 어쩌겠어요, 노래를 만들어야죠.

| Beheaded is guitarist Taehun Lee and pianist Jared Redmond. Their unique free music is a chimera, synthesizing Lee and Redmond’s diverse influences and experience as solo and ensemble artists. Elements of contemporary composition, the blues, noise improvisation, metal, and extended performance techniques flow into seas of meditative ambient harmonies and modal meanderings. A single performance often transforms from tender, religious atmospheres to punk-like, savage energy. Beheaded’s first album, Beheaded-1, was released in 2018. Their second, Beheaded 2, was released in 2025. In addition to performing at the opening of the 2024 Korean Improvised Music Festival, they have been a fixture at small music venues, bars, and experimental music basements in the Western alleyways of Seoul since 2016.
