델리카마의 오랜 거주지 송파구. 꿈보단 잠, 향유보다는 소비 중심의 부도심 지역인 이 곳. 먹자골목의 바와 스타디움, 모텔촌과 아파트가 경쟁하듯 병존하고, 홍대나 이태원과는 달리 문화에 대한 접근과 재미를 찾기 어려운 이 지역을 그는 어릴 때 부터 여러 번 벗어나 서울을 돌아다니며 음악을 만들었다. 채워지지 않는 무엇인가를 찾아 여러 곳을 돌아다니던 자신을 추억하고, 자신의 동네로 다시 돌아가는 여정을 담았다.

지금의 나를 이야기 해주는 과거, 현재, 그리고 소중한 기억들이라는 “In Your Sweet Memory” 의 4번째 시리즈인 [In Your Sweet Memory – Now and Then] 이 2021년 겨울에 발매됩니다.

그 어느때 보다 유난히 우리를 힘들게 했던 한해에 위로가, 그리고 새로운 시작을 준비하고자 준비된 이번 시리즈 역시, 동/서양의 각각의 프로듀서가 함께 하게 되었습니다.

 

“디제이 오카와리 (DJ Okawari)” 를 시작으로 하여, 한국을 사랑하는 “켄이치로 니시하라 (Kenichiro Nishihara)” , 그의 절친인 “제이리 (Jay Lee)” 그리고 “서전트 제이 (Sergeant Jay)” 등 익숙한 Jazz Hiphop, Acid Jazz 계열의 프로듀서들 뿐 아니라, “Dekobe”, “Snowk”, “Gimgigam”, “Rickie-G” “Bonus Points” 등 Lofi, Chillhop, Soul, R&B 까지가 함께 정리된 좋은 앨범이 준비되었습니다.

 

시리즈의 A&R를 담당하게 된 프로듀서 ‘Jay Lee’는 현대카드 언더스테이지에서 진행된 “켄이치로 니시하라 (Kenichiro Nishihara) meets seoul” 내한공연 및 일본 도쿄에서 진행된 “IN YA MELLOW TONE” “Namy& Happy New Year Party”에 게스트 MC로 참여하는 등 프로듀서 겸 MC라는 독특한 활동으로 독자적인 위치를 만들어 가고 있습니다. 그는 전체적인 앨범의 분위기를 위해 모든 음악을 직접 선별 및 리마스터링하여 그 테마에 더욱 어울리는 앨범을 만들었다고 전합니다.
