The Light
| 3부작의 마지막 장 The Light 의 7곡의 트랙과 이전 1부와 2부 모두 하나의 메세지를 향해 가고 있다. “빛”.
“빛”은 “사랑, 희망, 꿈” 같은 찬란하고 밝은 느낌을 주지만 역설적이게도 “어둠, 고독, 좌절”을 경험하지 못하면 “빛”이 무엇인지 알 수 없다. 한 줄기의 빛이 얼마나 큰 힘을 지녔는지는 어둠이 어떤 얼굴을 보여줄 수 있는지 아는 이들일 수록 더 크게 인지하게 된다.
지난한 터널을 지나가고 있는 이들이나, 그 터널을 지나온 분들에게 동행자의 마음으로 사랑과 응원을 담아 나의 노래들을 보낸다.
All seven tracks on The Light, the final chapter of the trilogy, as well as the previous two parts, move toward a single message “Light.”
“Light” often evokes feelings of love, hope, and dreams – radiant and bright. Yet paradoxically, without having experienced darkness, loneliness, or despair, one cannot truly understand what “light” means.
The deeper the darkness one has known, the more clearly one recognizes the immense power held in a single beam of light.
To those still passing through long tunnels, and to those who have already come out the other side, I send my songs with love and encouragement – as a companion walking alongside you.

2.Hidden Colors 작곡,편곡 시문
숨겨진 다채로운 색들을 보자. Brian Shin의 트럼펫이 곡에 생기를 더한다.
3.식물원 (Sikmulwon (where the wild plants live)) 작곡,편곡 시문
Singing Fountain으로 이어지는 짧은 인트로성 트랙. 습하고 오가닉한 느낌을 주는 공간의 문턱 같은 곡이다.

식물원 안에 자리 잡은 이 분수대 주변으로는 시원한 기타 리프가 사방으로 튀기고 있다. 식물원의 베이스 라인이 녹아있지만 다른 방식이다.
5.못 잊어 (Still Remember) 작곡,편곡 시문
놓아주지 못하는 마음을 표현한 어지러운 곡. Sooyoung Chin의 신스와 피아노 연주가 어지럽게 하는 것을 더욱더 힘차게 돕는다.
6.잊은 밤 (Let Me Forget) 작곡,편곡 시문
‘못 잊어’에서 이어지는 미니멀하고 차분한 밤 분위기의 곡. 감정이 가라앉으며 무엇이든 떠나보낼 수 있을 거 같다. 잠들기 전 듣기 좋은 자장가 같은 트랙.
7.Past Lives 작곡,편곡 시문
가끔 그때 일들이 전생처럼 느껴진다. 생생한 시간의 경계를 넘나드는 짧은 곡.
8.먹구름을 등 뒤로하고 (Back to the Sun) 작곡,편곡 시문
가장 최근 작업한 곡으로, 속도감 있는 드럼과 다양한 소리가 어우러져 빛이 있는 곳으로 나아간다.
9.너의 온기가 머무른 곳에 (Seed) 작곡,편곡 시문
앨범의 마지막 트랙. 오버드라이브 기타의 질감이 미묘한 향수를 자아내며 온기를 더한다.

| 20대 초반의 감정들을 담은 노래들의 마지막 앨범. 이제는 앞으로 가려고 하는 마음을 담아 본 음악.
조금 쉬었다가 8곡으로 된 EP로 돌아온 지흔입니다.
1. Another Year: 정신을 차리고 정상적인 사람이 다시 되려고 하는 순간. 2. Film Bro Crash Out: 점차 취미들과 열정을 잃어가며 자연스럽게 성숙해지는 순간. 3. All My White Friends: 다들 좀 나아지라고 압박을 줄 때 불안함을 느끼는 순간. 4. Serene Grace: 한동안 본 적 없는 사람이 잘 지내고 있기를 비는 순간. 5. Attempt At A Love Song: 사랑을 해 본 적 없는 사람이 사랑을 상상해보는 순간. 6. Back Together: 미워도 어떤 방식이라도 동원해서 서로를 치유하려는 순간. 7. Third in a Row: 후회와 자괴감에 가득 찬 질문들을 내 자신에게 던지는 순간. 8. Old Symptoms: 자기 자신을 있는 그대로 드디어 받아들이는 순간.

People Come Raging
| “장르에 구애받지 않는 자유로운 음악” 등을 슬로건 삼아 소위 “얼터너티브”나 “인디”라는 말로 자신들의 음악을 소개하며, 큰 시류에 구속되어가는 밴드들이 얼마나 많은가
2025년 1월 첫 EP를 통해 데뷔한 신예 PCR은 위와 같은 밴드들의 움직임과는 궤를 달리한다. 태생부터 “No Wave”와 “Art Punk”라는 어떻게 보면 누군가에겐 생소하고 비주류로 들릴 이 특정장르를 밴드의 색으로 지속 언급하며 밴드의 근간을 정의하고 구속한다.
영리하게도 이들은 이러한 비대중적인 장르를 단순히 “소리” 로만 풀고 나가지 않는다. DIY정신에 입각해 녹음에서 믹싱까지 밴드 스스로의 손에서 탄생한 음악 뿐 아니라, 자체적으로 생산되는 시각적 요소들(아트워크, 멤버들의 의상, 뮤직비디오까지) 가 하나의 순환으로써 PCR을 구성하며, 정보가 범람하는 이 시대의 청자들에게 세련된 방식으로 자신들의 세계를 전달한다.
“파충류”를 어원으로 만들어진 이 밴드는 두번째 EP인 People Come Raging을 발매하며 그 이름과 같이 감정보다는 감각에 더 집중한 음악을 통해 본격적으로 자신들의 영역을 확장해 나가고 있다.
“PCR의 음악을 처음 듣는다면 여러 아이디어가 마구 뒤섞인 것처럼 들릴 수도 있습니다. 하지만 그들의 음악을 반복하다 보면 결국, 밴드가 곡 구성 방식에 대해 얼마나 신중한지 알게 될 것입니다. 지저분하지만 타이트하고 복잡하지만 단순하며 2025년 한국 음악에 필요한 것이 바로 그것입니다.”

| 노래 영감의 시작은 이상한 나라의 앨리스의 Drink Me 보틀. 그 물을 마시면 앨리스의 몸이 작아져서 앨리스가 볼 수 없던 세상을 보게 되듯 내가 사랑하는 사람도 내가 볼 수 있는 세상을 보게 될 것이라는 의미. 그리고 나 귀엽기만 하지 않아요.
The inspiration for the song began with the “Drink Me” bottle from Alice in Wonderland. When Alice drinks from the bottle, her body shrinks, allowing her to see a world she couldn’t before. In the same way, I believe that if I ever have a healthy, loving relationship with someone I truly care about, they too will be able to see the world as I see it.
