PUNK is nowhere

타이틀 ‘PUNK is nowhere’는 모 음악 사이트에 게시된 럼킥스 사진에 댓글이 200개 가까이 달렸길래 들어가 보니 악성 댓글들이 즐비했다. 처음엔 치밀어 오르는 분노를 참지 못하고 반박 글을 달려고 하다가 그래도(?) 음악 하는 사람인데 노래로 만들어서 대응해야겠다 생각하고 인상 깊었던 몇몇 댓글들을 엮어서 만든 노래이다.

‘욕을 많이 먹어도 우린 멋있는 펑크락커가 될 것이다!’라는 다짐으로 ‘punk rocker’도 만들었다.

재즈피아니스트 박한빈의 1st EP [Scratch]

김광석 노래 부르기 대상 출신인 ‘감성 연주자 박한빈’의 데뷔 앨범이 대중들 앞에 첫 모습을 드러낸다.

국내 손꼽히는 재즈드러머이자 교육자로서의 역할 모두를 소화해 내고 있는 ‘임주찬’ 교수를 비롯하여 국내에서 활발히 활동 중인 지재일, 안상준, 김유진, 박예닮과 손을 잡고 따뜻하면서도 감각적인 음악을 선보인다.

이번 앨범은 지금까지 선보였던 ‘연주자 박한빈’의 이미지와 달리 자신만의 색깔을 진하게 그려냈다. 앞으로의 활동이 기대되는 아티스트로서 재즈씬에 새롭게 출사표를 던진다.

[Scratch]는 미술 기법 중 하나로, 도화지에 밝은 색 크레파스나 색연필 등으로 색칠한 다음 어두운 색을 덧칠하여 송곳이나 칼끝으로 긁어서 바탕색이 나오게 하는 회화 기법이다.

사람들이 말하는 ‘박한빈’의 모습이 덧칠한 색이라면 음악이라는 송곳을 사용함으로써 무슨 바탕색을 가지고 있는지 보여주고자 한다.
