악단광칠 정규 3집 《착신 着神》은 힘든 현실에 지친 한 사람이 삶의 이유를 묻기 위해 신이 산다는 곳, 백로주로 떠나는 여정을 그린 서사형 앨범이다. 〈TA〉는 악단광칠 정규 3집 《착신 着神》의 서사를 여는 첫 번째 선공개 싱글이다.
매일 웃음의 탈을 쓰고 살아가지만, 그 안에서는 불안과 분노, 무력감이 쌓여가는 한 사람의 독백에서 출발한다. “나는 무엇을 향해 걸어가는가”라는 질문은 현실에 지친 개인의 신세한탄을 넘어, 더 이상 지금처럼 살 수 없다는 절박한 선언으로 이어진다. 신에게 다시 살게 해달라고, 길을 열어달라고 청하는 메시지는 단순한 기도가 아니라 자신의 삶을 붙잡기 위한 마지막 몸부림에 가깝다. 정박으로 이어지는 무거운 발걸음 같은 리듬은 반복되는 현실과 미지의 세계로 향하는 결심을 동시에 담아낸다.
〈TA〉는 “신은 길 끝에 있다”는 믿음을 품고 떠나는 여정의 시작점으로서 11월 정규앨범 《착신 着神》의 전체 서사로 이어진다.
ADG7’s third studio album Chakshin 着神: God-Touched is a narrative album that follows the journey of a weary soul who sets out for Baekroju, a mythical place said to be where the gods dwell, in search of a reason to keep living. “TA” is the first pre-release single and the opening chapter of the album’s story.
The song begins with the inner monologue of someone who wears a smile every day while quietly carrying anxiety, anger, and exhaustion beneath the surface. The question, “What am I walking toward?” grows beyond a personal lament into a desperate declaration that life can no longer continue as it is. Pleading with the gods to grant another chance at life and to open a new path is not simply an act of prayer, but a final struggle to hold on to oneself. Its steady, weighty rhythm evokes the sound of heavy footsteps, reflecting both the endless repetition of everyday reality and the determination to step into the unknown.
As the starting point of a journey guided by the belief that “the gods await at the end of the road,” “TA” leads directly into the larger narrative of Chakshin 着神: God-Touched, the full-length album to be released in November.
