Shyloh의 리듬 선언, No Chains!

New Jack Swing의 리듬 위에서 자유롭게 춤추는 Shyloh의 여름 싱글!!

 

Shyloh는 이번 싱글 “No Chains”를 통해 자신의 음악적 흐름에 전환점을 찍는다. 그동안 마이너 키를 기반으로 한 느리고 서정적인 곡들을 만들어 왔다면, 이번에는 분위기를 완전히 반전시켜, 빠른 템포의 New Jack Swing 트랙으로 돌아왔다. Shyloh는 이 곡을 통해 자신 안의 무거운 감정에서 벗어나, 더 이상 어떤 감정에도 얽매이지 않고 리듬 위에서 자유롭게 움직이겠다는 선언을 담았다. 과거의 슬로우 무드에서 벗어나 “same key, new style”이라는 가사처럼, 여전히 마이너 키로 곡을 쓰지만 전혀 다른 방식으로 자신을 표현하는 작곡가의 새로운 태도가 담겨 있다.

 

한여름의 뜨거운 에너지에 맞춰, 이 리듬 선언문을 온몸으로 들어볼 차례다.

처음의 시작은 이와 같은 자신감이 주를 이뤘습니다.

천천히 다가가려 했지만 결국 닿을 수 없을 것만 같았고 이내 내 모습을 보게 되었습니다.

자신감이 서서히 사라지는 것이었는지, 처음부터 없었던 것인지는 중요하지 않았습니다.
