데뷔 EP 「SUS4」로부터 약 1년 반.

Yuseke Saint Laurant (YSL)가 전작에서 함께한 ONENESS 와 다시 한번 호흡을 맞췄다.

 

진지하게 자신의 음악 방향성에 마주했다는 이번 작품은, 소울풀한 재료와, 강력하고도 질주감이 있는 비트, 그리고 멜로우한 일렉트로닉 사운드로 독자적인 밸런스 감각으로 구축되었다.

 

치밀하게 겹쳐진 소리의 레이어로부터 튀어나오는 비트를 타고 내는 ONENESS.

내 안에는 늘 넘칠듯 넘치지 않으면서 위태롭게 찰랑이는 것이 있다.

이것이 불안이라는 걸 알게 된 지 고작 2년 밖에 되지 않았다. 늘 넘칠 듯 넘쳐버리진 않았던 탓에 눈치채지 못했나?

불안은 나태와 무기력이라는 모습으로 나를 짓누르고, 과거와 미래를 수없이 왕복하게 만들어 나를 현재에 존재할 수 없게 했다. 밤이 되면 나는 수면과의 사투를 벌였다. 나는 그 바깥에 설 수 없었다.

2년 전 나의 결핍이 이름 지어졌고, 난 자유로워졌다.

머리가 아플 때마다 먹던 약보다 더 자그만 크기의 약 한 알이 나의 불안들을 순식간에 사냥했다. 나는 날 선 불안의 틈 속에서 자유를 찾고, 잠깐의 호흡을 담고, 그렇게 흘러갔다.

그래서 지금 불행하냐고 묻는다면 난 절대 행복하다. 자유롭다.

비로소 이름없는 그림자가 날 잡아먹을 듯 쫓아오지 않는다.

이제 나는 나의 불안과 나를 향한 작은 혐오를 내 무기로 쓴다.

소개글
우연히 소리들을 찾기 시작하였고 모든 질감과 소리에는 캐릭터가 있었으며, 그에 영감을 받아 곡을 만드는 과정은 너무나 자연스러웠다.

최소한의 사운드만 담지만, 깊이 있는 느낌으로 만들어졌으며 대부분 잼에서 시작된 이영우와 송준호의 첫 듀오 공동 프로젝트이다.

 

“Collection of happy accidental discoveries of sounds”

 

Youngwoo and Junho song has shared over 10 years in friendship but stumbled upon making a duo project for the first time.

 

Every sound led to another and every process was organic.

They wanted to capture minimal sounds but wanted be to left with a deep feeling.

 

This is a sum of their jam orchestrated.
