Hosted by the Tokyo-based music collective last spring., this project brings together talented vocalists from around the world for special collaborative sessions. Blending elements of Lo-fi, City Pop, Disco, and Jazz, the series delivers a stylish and nostalgic sound that’s both timeless and modern.

Following the successful release of two lead singles in April, the full EP is finally here! Featured tracks include iconic J-Pop hits such as “Plastic Love,” “Manatsu no Kajitsu,” “LA・LA・LA LOVE SONG,” “Yasashisa ni Tsutsumareta Nara,” “Asahi ga Ataru Michi,” and “Robinson”—a celebration of classics that shaped the history of Japanese pop.

The vocals are performed by rising Korean artist Summer Soul, whose crystalline yet grounded voice breathes new life into each track. Her fresh interpretations add a new dimension to these timeless songs.

The arrangements range from Lo-fi-inspired textures to Bossa/Latin vibes, City Pop elegance, and mellow acoustic stylings. This EP is a standout collection of cover songs, blending nostalgia with a fresh creative spark.
